While the rest of the country will be celebrating Mardi Gras on February 13tht, the HER Shelter is celebrating MARDI BRAS!! Instead uncovering our “girls” in exchange for bright colored beads, we will be covering them up!
Many of our clients who flee domestic violence situations come to us with very little. Grabbing bras and underwear on the way out of the door is not usually a priority. To help our clients rebuild a wardrobe with essentials, we are collecting NEW bras, underwear, feminine hygiene products and ethnic hair care products.
