What is it? The Big Buddy is a monthly outing where our male mentors meet Youth & Family Services staff/interns and shelter kids at a predetermined location for an evening of activity and fun. EX: A bowling event, mini golf, ice skating, etc.

When?  The third Friday of the Month, typically at 6PM.

Information to take note of: Big Buddies  must be men who are at least 18 years old. At times, teen males may be included to partner up with younger kids, provided they are attending along with a background cleared adult male mentor. These outings are for children (of all genders) Kindergarten – 17 years old. Outings are once a month and are on the 3rd Friday of each month.  Typical start time is between 6-6:30pm and we usually finish within 2 hours. In the event we attend a movie or special outing, times may vary.  We do ask that the Big Buddy be prepared to purchase their own admission ticket as we try to stretch our budget just as far as we can.
