Thanksgiving Food Drive
We will be collecting food so our clients can prepare their own thanksgiving feast. Nonperishable food will be accepted on November 20th and November 24th from 11AM- 7PM. We will accepting perishable food such as turkeys and fresh fruit and vegetables on the November 24th date. All donations are accepted at 1900 Columbus Ave, Portsmouth.
Silent Nights
Silent Nights is our year end campaign to raise much needed funds to provide crisis services to families fleeing violent situations.
Your financial gift sends a message that people care, even on the their darkest day. We want this holiday season to bring happiness and joy to the lives of those who have been isolated, abused and made to live in fear. Adopt a Family, a Child, or a Mom!
Want to support HER Shelter clients this Christmas? Considering adopting a mom, a child or an entire family who is in our program. Mom's and kids were asked for items that were on the wish list this Christmas.

Please return your gifts unwrapped and securely labeled with the name of the person the gifts are purchased for so we can direct them to the correct person. If you would like to provide mom with a roll of wrapping paper and tape, she would be most grateful. If possible, please attach gift receipts to each item.
Gifts can be brought to us December 15th, 16th and 17th from 9:30AM- 5:30 PM at our RESTORE Shelter (1900 Columbus Ave, Portsmouth).

Volunteer Opportunties
Come help us deck the halls of our shelters.
We will turning our communal living spaces into spaces to celebrate the joy of the season. We will be decorating on December 3, 4 and 5 at 10 AM. Gift Wrapping
Donors will be dropping gifts off for kids and parents. While we encourage parents to wrap their kids gifts, even parents enjoy unwrapping gifts on Christmas morning. On December 15, 16, and 17, we will be wrapping parent gifts from noon to 5pm. If you are a registered volunteer, click HERE to register.
